Dafang's 10 ton hoist is an electric lifting unit rated at 10,000 kg. It mounts directly onto overhead cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes, and I-beam monorail systems. Five configurations are available to match different duty cycles, headroom conditions, and hazardous area classifications.
The CD/MD is Dafang's most widely exported 10 ton hoist model. Wire rope wound on a grooved drum; electric motor + reducer drives the hook up and down, with an integrated trolley for lateral travel along the crane beam.

MD = dual-speed hoisting (full speed + 1/10 micro-speed for precision lowering)

All motor enclosures, control boxes, and junction boxes use certified flameproof (Ex d) construction. Complies with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and IECEx standards. Available in ExdIIBT4 (ethylene, propane, LPG) and ExdIICT4 (hydrogen, acetylene) grades.
Motor, gearbox, and drum are repositioned to reduce the overall hoist height. Achieves the same 10-ton rated capacity as the standard model with a significantly lower hook dead zone — critical when beam clearance is limited.

Grade 80 / Grade 100 alloy steel load chain driven by a motor-and-sprocket mechanism. Compact integrated design results in a smaller hook approach dimension than a wire rope hoist of the same capacity. Spring-loaded friction brake holds the load mechanically during power loss.
