The Column Articulating Jib Crane is a versatile, space-efficient lifting solution engineered for precision material handling. Unlike standard jib cranes with a fixed-radius boom, the articulating arm moves in multiple planes — offering superior reach into tight corners, around obstacles, and across complex workstations. Mounted on a vertical column anchored to the floor, it provides 360° rotation and exceptional maneuverability. With a capacity range of 80 to 600 KG, it excels at tasks requiring frequent re-positioning, fine-tuned placement, and ergonomic operation.
Articulating Column jib crane consists of a base, a mast, an articulated jib, and various mechanical and electrical components. The base provides stability, and the mast supports the jib. The jib can be rotated horizontally around the mast and also raised and lowered at different angles, allowing the articulating cantilever crane to reach different positions and heights. The working range of this jib crane is mainly within the fan-shaped area covered by cantilever, centered around the column.

A: Reach depends on the number and length of arm segments. Standard configurations offer effective outreach from 2 meters up to 6 meters per segment. Multi-segment articulating arms can be combined for extended reach — our engineering team will design the optimal configuration for your workspace.
A: The column requires a properly rated concrete floor foundation (typical minimum of 150–200mm reinforced concrete). We provide a foundation template and load specification sheet with every order. Retrofit installation on existing floors is possible with core drilling and chemical anchoring in most cases.
A: Virtually any standard hoist works with the articulating arm: electric chain hoists (most common), wire rope hoists, pneumatic (air) hoists, and manual chain hoists. The hoist type is selected based on your load class, duty cycle, and environment (e.g., ATEX zones for explosive atmospheres).
A: A wall-mounted jib crane requires a structural wall and has a fixed-radius boom arc. A column articulating jib crane is floor-anchored (no wall required), and the articulating arm can change its geometry mid-operation — reaching around obstacles, over machines, and into corners that a rigid boom simply cannot access.
A: Standard models typically ship within 3–5 weeks after order confirmation. Installation is usually completed in 1–2 days by a qualified technician or our service team. On-site installation includes column grouting, arm assembly, hoist mounting, and a full operational test and safety check
