Project Background

In May 2025, Dafang Crane received an inquiry from an Omani customer. The purchasing manager said that their factory had completed a new expansion. They are currently in urgent need of special explosion-proof overhead cranes suitable for oil and gas processing plants.

Dafang Crane team engineers discussed details such as working environment, special requirements and other details with the customer. We finally confirmed the order for a total of five sets of explosion-proof overhead traveling cranes. These explosion-proof overhead cranes are designed for high loads and harsh environments. Their special materials and protection levels can ensure stable and safe operations in industrial applications such as oil and gas plants.

Pre-shipment preparation and packaging

After production is completed, our company packages the cranes by batch. To ensure they arrive intact at the customer's facility, we wrap the main beams with rainproof cloth. All accessories and electrical appliances are packaged in special export wooden crates.

Our company has dedicated personnel responsible for the production, packaging, and delivery of our equipment. We strive for excellence in every step. To protect the cranes from impact during transportation, all cranes we ship are painted the same color.

This batch of products and accessories primarily includes the main beams, end beams, explosion-proof stainless steel hooks, explosion-proof stainless steel wheels, crane power cables, and wireless remote controls.

Conclusion

On July 6, 2025, Dafang Crane received the full payment for an order of five explosion-proof bridge cranes from an Omani customer. The goods were packed intact and shipped to Oman as planned on July 7, 2024. The customer received the goods on July 22 and they were safely transported to its factory.

Today, our customer sent us a video of these explosion-proof cranes in action. They were very satisfied with our collaboration and hope to work with us again on future projects.
