On October 21st, 2025, the steel box girder closure of the Zhengzhou Longhu Financial Island North Canal Pedestrian Bridge, undertaken by Henan Dafang Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., was successfully completed.

Longhu Financial Island is located in the central Longhu Lake area of ​​Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City. It covers an area of ​​approximately 1.07 square kilometers. It serves as the core functional area of ​​Zhengdong New District's international regional financial center. However, the North and South Canals split its lakeside walkway. Pedestrians have to detour to Zhonghuan Road—about 360 meters for the South Canal and 820 meters for the North Canal.
